Amber Heard was born and raised in south central Texas. She is the 2nd of three children, she has a younger sister Whitney. Who is a year younger. 

 Her mother Patricia Paige Heard was an internet researcher and her father David C. Heard was a contractor. 

Heard grew up crossing the Mexican border with her father who often hire migrants to work in his small construction company.  

Amber Heard attended a Catholic high school, even though she didn’t graduate. She moved to California where she now resides when she was 17 years old to pursue her acting career

Amber Heard is an award winning actress, she has appeared in several movies. She first appeared on TV Series “Jack & Bobby” (2004) as Liz.

She is well known for starring in popular movies such as Justice league (2017), Aquaman (2018), Drive Angry (2011), Machete Kills (2013), Paranoia (2013), Drive Angry (2011), Zombieland (2009), The Joneses (2009), ExTerminators (2009), The O.C. (2003) and many more.

Amber Heard won the Golden Schmoes Award at the Dallas Star award (2010), Spotlight Award (2011) at the Hollywood Film Awards for the movie “The Rum Diary” (2011), Rising Star Award at the Texas film awards (2015), Breakthrough Performance Award at the Young Hollywood Award (2008).

Apart from being an actres, Amber Heard is also an activist. She is a Human Rights ambassador of the UN Human Rights Office. She is also an  ambassador of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). 

Heard donated her entire $7 million divorce settlement to the ACLU,and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Amber Heard was in a same sex relationship with with celebrity photographer Tasya van Ree. She met Johnny Depp on set while filming movie “The Rum Diary” in 2011 

She was married to actor Johnny Depp in 2015. They began to live together a year later and they got married in 2015. 

Their marriage lasted 15 months, after Amber Heard filed for divorce in 2016, after claiming he physically and verbally abused her. Johnny Depp denied the allegations she made against him. A court ordered their divorce in 2017.

Amber Heard was also in a relationship with Testla and new Twitter owner Elon Musk. 

Amber Heard has a daughter named Oonagh Paige Heard through surrogacy.

Amber Heard Controversies 

In recent times Amber Heard has been in controversies with her ex-husband Johnny Depp. The pair have been in and out of court before they finally decided to settle their issues out of court after he backlash she received on social media about her testimony.

After their divorce, Johnny Depp unsuccessful sued British newspaper “The Sun” for defamation for a publication of Heard’s domestic abuse allegations.

Johnny Depp filed another lawsuit, against Heard for an op-ed published in her name in the Washington Post. The publication speaks against “sexual violence” and stating how she witnessed how institutions protects men accused of abuse.”
